1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Ignatov Soft (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes information when you use the Network Scanner & Permission Analyzer mobile application (the “App”).
2. What information the App processes
2.1 Information you provide
The App does not require account creation. If you contact us for support, you may provide information such as your email address and message content. We use this only to respond to you.
2.2 Information processed on-device (local)
The App performs technical analysis on your device to provide its functionality. This may include:
- Local network data: local IP addresses, device names (if available), MAC addresses (where the OS permits), and open port results for devices on your local network.
- Installed app metadata: app names, package names, and the permissions each app declares/requests (as exposed by Android APIs).
- Diagnostics you run: ping/traceroute targets and results.
By default, these results are used to display information to you inside the App and are kept locally on your device.
2.3 Information we may collect (optional)
Depending on your build/configuration, the App may include one or more of the following. If you do not use/enable them in your app, remove the relevant items below to match your actual implementation:
- Crash reports (e.g., to diagnose stability issues): device model, OS version, app version, and crash stack traces.
- Basic analytics (to understand usage): screens viewed and feature usage counts.
If enabled, these data are used to improve the App and are not used to identify you personally.
3. Permissions and why they are used
The App may request certain Android permissions to provide its features. Examples include:
- Network access (e.g.,
INTERNET,ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): to scan your local network and run diagnostics. - Wi-Fi information (varies by Android version): to identify the current network and perform device discovery.
- Foreground service / notifications (optional): to run longer scans reliably and show progress.
The App does not request permissions unrelated to its core purpose. If a permission is not needed, you can deny it, but some features may not work.
4. In-App Purchases
If you purchase premium features, the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing. We receive confirmation that a purchase occurred (e.g., product ID, purchase state) so we can unlock premium features, but we do not receive your full payment information.
5. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide the App’s functionality (network scanning, port scanning, permission analysis, diagnostics).
- Maintain and improve performance and reliability (e.g., fixing bugs, improving stability).
- Respond to support requests.
- Prevent abuse or fraud related to licensing/purchases (if applicable).
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell your data. We may share information only in these cases:
- Service providers used for crash reporting/analytics (only if enabled in the App).
- Google Play for processing in-app purchases.
- Legal reasons if required to comply with applicable law, regulation, or legal process.
7. Data retention
- Scan results: stored locally on your device unless you choose to export/share them.
- Support emails: retained only as long as needed to address your request.
- Crash/analytics (if enabled): retained for a limited period according to the provider’s settings and then deleted/aggregated.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device.
9. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for a general/technical audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International users
If you use the App outside your country, information may be processed where you are located and where service providers operate (if any are enabled).
11. Your choices
- You can deny permissions in Android settings (some features may stop working).
- You can delete the App to remove locally stored data (unless you exported/shared it elsewhere).
- If the App includes analytics/crash reporting toggles, you can disable them (if provided).
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
